Mason Jars Quart sized March 1, 2009 Neenchem (Baltimore, MD) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The mason jars arrived fully intact and work/seal wonderfully for storing soups and other foods or for making teas.

The mason jars arrive safe all but one was broken. The company is replacing the whole set.
canning jars September 15, 2009 From Michigan (Grand Rapids,Michigan) With the prime shipping option this order was shipped free, otherwise the shipping alone for glass would have made it cost prohibitive.Jars themselves exactly as advertised.Prime shipping has been worth every penney,a lot of items are expensive to ship.
Best for home use January 31, 2010 Hazel Watson If you've been dismayed by loss of food due to breakage caused by reusing mayonnaise and other bought food jars, you already know why Ball Mason Jars are the best for canning, whether you use the boiling water or pressure cooker method. The commercial food jars were not meant for home canning use. The Ball Mason Jars are.
They come in many different sizes, the most popular being the quarts and pints. I use all of the sizes down to the 4 oz.
I don't recommend buying them online unless you can't get them locally. Shipping will add horrendously to the cost, unless you can get it free. You may be able in some cases to order through an online division of a local store to get them shipped free so you can go and pick them up.
But for all the work you do to preserve food, you'll want the best possible equipment. I recommend Ball Mason very highly
